Каним Ви да гледате пъстрия детски танцов спектакъл на Петър Илиев на 13 и 14 декември 2015 г. в Националния музикален театър „Стефан Македонски“ – София
Забавно шоу, което провокира детското въображение и разбужда разузнавача у малки и големи! Заплетена интрига и емоционално поднасяне, които не оставят никого равнодушен! Една необикновена, забавна и поучителна история, случила се с децата в едно иначе обикновено училище.
Хореографът Петър Илиев ни пренася в неповторим детски свят – пъстър, оживен, находчив. Спектакълът ни въвлича в мистериозна приключенска история, която се разгръща в обикновено българско училище. Изправени пред сложна загадка, училищните детективи преминават през поредица от комични недоразумения, срещайки различни животинки и дори странни извънземни. С разплитането на ситуацията те стигат и до неочаквана поука. 
Криминалната история с мишки, мравки, паяци и други герои е поднесена прекрасно от над 140 ученици от 103 ОУ „Васил Левски“ ж.к. Филиповци, 116 ОУ „Паисий Хилендарски“ с. Яна, ученици от Националното училище за танцово изкуство и други.
Петър Илиев споделя за спектакъла:
„Кой открадна чипса?“ е проект различен от всичко, което съм правил досега.
Създавам танц по музика, написана специално за историята, която разказваме. Изключително съм вдъхновен, провокирано е творческото ми мислене, ентусиазмът на децата ме зарежда с енергия. Идеята, която пресъздаваме, зарази децата и всеки ден откривам нови нюанси в отделните характери. Самите участници са изключително отдадени на ролите си и заедно обогатяваме танцовите етюди. Костюмите, сътворени от нашата художничка Ваня Вълкова, са колоритни и артистични. Щастлив съм, че една идея ще обедини толкова деца и съмишленици.
Един от оригиналните елементи на спектакъла е музиката, създадена специално от талантливия композитор Светослав Кърпаров. Шестте оригинални пиеси, всяка със собствен облик, се допълват и надграждат сценария. Сложна и сериозна като текст, тя е закачлива и весела като звучене и почти едно от действащите лица в спектакъла. Соловите изпълнения на саксофон са на младия музикант Владимир Кърпаров. Музикалните етюди се допълват и надграждат оригиналното либрето на сценариста Людмил Попов.

Спектакълът „Кой открадна чипса?” е част от иновативната програма „Танцуващи хлапета“ на Фондация „Танцово изкуство – Илиев“, която се осъществява с подкрепата на Посолството на САЩ и фондация „Америка за България“. Целта е да предостави възможност на деца от общообразователни училища от периферни райони да се докоснат до магията на танцовото изкуство. Идеята на Петър Илиев, хореограф с дългогодишен опит от Националния танцов институт на САЩ, е да покаже, че танцът, освен чисто естетическа роля, има и силна педагогическа и 
изграждаща функция. Чрез танца у децата се възпитават способности за работа в екип, и
дух на толерантност. Развива се креативността, творческия им усет и мотивацията за успех. Посредством участието в уникалния спектакъл фондацията обединява деца, които вербално общуват на различни езици, но на сцената всички комуникират с международния език на танца.

Join us for this colorful dance production with an intricate plot!
December 13th at 5 pm and December 14th at 7 pm, at the National Musical Theatre “Stefan Makedonski”, 100 Vassil Levski Blvd. in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Who Stole the Chips? is the intriguing title of choreographer Petur Iliev’s latest creative adventure. A truly magical production performed “by kids – for kids” with original libretto, music, costumes and background multi-media.
Come witness the joy and enthusiasm with which 140 children from three different schools in Sofia and vicinity, as well as seven soloists from the National School of Dance Art, convey the magic of dance art. Within the intricate plot, the young dancers transform into mice, spiders, ants, detectives and extra-terrestrial beings, to tell the story of exploration and discovery within one regular Bulgarian school.
Their inspiration is contagious, and your child will leave the performance both entertained and motivated for future educational and artistic exploits. The story also carries with it a moral message: to maintain a healthy diet and to be environmentally conscious and act responsibly towards our natural resources.
Participating are children from three different schools: 
- 103rd “Vassil Levski” School in Sofia
- 116th “Paisii Hilendarski” School in the village of Yana
- students from the National School for Dance Art and others.
The playful merry music is especially written by the young Bulgarian composer Svetoslav Karparov, who has created six exquisite pieces that complement each other to both inform and propel the action further. Although classical in sound, in their classical expression are woven the characteristic for the Bulgarian folk music asymmetrical measures.
Vania Valkova is the innovative visual artist who designed the colorful and intricate costumes and created the background multi-media.

The community dance project “Dancing Kids” has now been in existence for four years and has yielded great results. It targets children from 3rd to 6th grade studying in public schools in different neighborhoods of Sofia and vicinity, including schools located in disadvantaged neighborhoods. The projects gives the young people the chance to experience the magic of dance art, while working with a renowned professional choreographer with leadership approach. The work process includes the development of an original choreography by Petur Iliev on a topic of social and educational significance, and the completion of an authentic dance show performed at the end of the creative and rehearsal process. This artistic process presents a unique chance for kids from different social and ethnic backgrounds to work together as a team and reach a common goal – the creation of a complete artistic product to be performed on stage.
The project is an innovation to the Bulgarian context, as it is designated not only to develop creativity and taste for artistic production in children, but also to build up motivation and self-esteem in children for achieving results and handling difficulties on the way. The artistic director of the Iliev Dance Art Foundation has many years of experience in the field of social and educational dance projects with „at risk“ children in the USA. For example, in one of the projects with the guru of American dance Jacques d’Amboise, under the umbrella of the US National Dance Institute, they worked with 1200 children from 12 public schools at the same time. The students then participated in a final dance performance in Bass Concert Hall in Austin, Texas. In Bulgaria it all started in April 2012, when, as part of the 2012 Dance It! Spring Intensive, Petur Iliev attempted a small and highly successful trial project, working with 21 Roma children from 103-rd School in the Sofia neighborhood of Filipovci. The success of this pilot edition provoked its expansion to its current depth and dimensions.
